Owners of saunas right in their home environment can congratulate themselves. In the current pandemic situation, when public saunas are either closed or visiting wellness centers is limited due to the number of people allowed, it is really a win if you have a sauna right in your home.
In no way do we want to question the operators of wellness centers and the hygienic care of their premises, but you never know in what state of health the visitors of such facilities are. That is why it may happen that in the wellness center you will come into contact with a not completely fit person who is convinced that he will get better by visiting the sauna. However, the opposite is true - you should visit the sauna only if you are not sick. If you have a cold, or have another viral disease and it doesn't have to be the coronavirus, visiting the sauna in this case is a big burden for the body. In some cases, the sauna can also accelerate the course of the disease - therefore, if something is "creeping" on you, it is better to wrap yourself in a warm blanket and postpone your visit to the sauna until you are fit again.
Sauna bathing has a wonderful effect on human health - especially on heart activity, proper functioning of the respiratory tract, relieves muscle and joint pain, oxygenates the body, and improves blood flow. Regular sharp changes in temperature - e.g. sauna->cooling pool results in the fact that your body gets used to this kind of hardening and is not so easily broken by something.
Keep in mind that the sauna serves as prevention and will not cure you of the disease (or the coronavirus).
