Maybe you already have something "de-saunaed" and maybe you're planning to just start with sauna. But do you know the correct sauna procedure? Read the following few tips for perfect, maximum effective and healthy enjoyment and the desired effect.
Do not eat for at least two hours before the sauna itself. In this way, you will tune your body into the ideal sauna state.
The rule also applies that if you don't feel fit - you have a weakened immunity in the form of flu, temperature, cough (but not from smoking or asthma - on the contrary, we recommend) and so on. it is better to skip the sauna and visit it only after finishing the treatment in order to strengthen and boost your immune system.
Before you enter the sauna, take a shower and wash with soap - you will rid your skin of impurities and make it easier for your body to sweat. Dry yourself.
Drink at least a glass of water - but avoid alcohol, which dehydrates you and puts a strain on your heart. Top up liquids during the sauna session as well.
Enter the sauna naked, you can take a sheet or a towel with you. However, definitely do not wear a swimsuit - they are made of synthetic materials that are not adapted to high temperatures and contain substances that are released even at 50°C. Be careful, some are highly carcinogenic.
After the sauna, it is ideal to cool down - with a shower, in a cooling pool or in another way. Start first from the feet gradually towards the waist, then the hands from the fingers to the shoulders and finally the torso, omit the head.
Such a procedure - sauna and cooling is recommended to be repeated 2-3 times. During the sauna, you can use e.g. to increase blood circulation to the skin. brush, treat yourself to peeling or use a traditional birch broom.
Finally, take a shower, wrap yourself in a bathrobe and relax in the relaxation room.
There is apparently no clear rule. However, regularity is ideal. You don't have to take a sauna every day, but it won't hurt you either.
Well, if you are a lover of regular saunas and you don't have a sauna at home yet, maybe it's time to get one. A small sauna for two people will also provide enjoyment and relaxation if you don't have space for a larger one.
